Emma Jane Is Here!

We are so excited and blessed to announce that Emma Jane arrived Sunday morning, October 20th! One day after her due date-- who would have thought?

She's got a head full of dark hair (just like Daddy) and is the best baby ever. Mama and Daddy cannot get enough of her! Neither can Cocoa and Oreo.

We are doing great and I cannot thank you all enough for the thoughts, prayers, and well wishes!

When life is more settled I'll share a little about her birth. If you're dying to know the details here's a hint-- we arrived at 8:10 and she was born at 9:05. It was a little bit of a whirlwind I'd say. :)

Thank you so much! I read every one of your emails. xO

Bumpdate-- 39 Weeks

Cannot believe I am 39 weeks pregnant! Still does not feel real.. like we could have a baby at any moment. Everyone keeps asking if I feel differently and I honestly do not.

I feel fantastic! Have a normal amount of energy, sleeping great, and don't think baby has "dropped". Truly blessed. We are excited but definitely not rushing little miss-- she can come when she's ready.

How far along? 39W5D

Maternity clothes: Same. Wearing maternity clothes when I go out and regular clothes around the house/working out. My idea of "working out" is very different these days..

Stretch marks? Nothing new and exciting....boobs and booty/hips.

Sleep: Sleep is amazing. I don't wake up to pee any more so I get a solid 8 or 9 hours. Guess I should kiss the amazing sleep good bye pretty soon. :)

Best moment this week: Hmm, our "baby pool" has been lots of fun. We have a family/friend one, and a work one. The work one also included weight. Major props to the guy who thinks my baby is coming today at 8lbs, 2 oz..

My husband's grandmother's birthday is tomorrow, so that would be really cool! But, unlikely at this point. I think my FIL/Sharon will be right. Who knows!

Miss anything? Unlimited Diet Coke and sleeping on my belly.

Craving anything? Not really. After our appointment tomorrow we may go out for breakfast/brunch.. iHop sounds kind of good. So does Chick Fil A breakfast!

Movement: Movement has definitely slowed down, but she still rolls around throughout the day/night.

Anything making you queasy or sick? Chocolate. I was never a chocolate person (it made me sick) pre pregnancy, but I craved it early on. I never went overboard, but the other day I had some and it made me sick. :( So, we're back to no chocolate. The thought of it, seeing it, smelling it, and walking by it at the store is enough to make me run to the bathroom.

Have you started to show yet? Please.

Dropped? I say no.

Gender: Girl!

Labor signs: None, what the heck.

Belly button in or out? Same, dark and flat.

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or moody most of the time? Happy!

Looking forward to: Our little gal's arrival! Now if she would just come!

Symptoms: None really.

Pregnancy Must Haves

As my pregnancy comes to an end (holy crap), I wanted to share some of the items I couldn't live without these past nine-ish months.

Since my pregnancy "began" in February (that's when I found out), I feel like I was pregnant for all the seasons-- winter, spring, summer, and fall. Kind of stinky but luckily I didn't have to buy any winter clothes. These items will definitely vary depending on what time of year you're pregnant.

:: Ice pack pillow and several ice packs: Seriously, amazeballs. As most of you know I had sciatic nerve pain for almost half of this pregnancy. This pillow saved me in the beginning. The ice pack that came with this pillow is worth its weight in gold. We also went through several ice packs just to keep me cool-- on my forehead, back, legs, etc.

Hard to see but there is a pocket in the pillow that holds the ice pack. Amazinggggg.

:: Camelbak (Or any kind) water bottle: My friend got me this one in purple and I love it! It gets filled up at least 10 times a day and I throw it in the dishwasher at night. It's so important to stay hydrated and with this water bottle, it's super easy. (Pictured below

:: Pregnancy journal: You'll definitely want to keep track of all your funny symptoms, cravings, and pictures! Mine is not perfect by any means, but I managed to keep up with it and I'm sure Baby Boese will appreciate that one day.

You don't even have to have a "fancy" pregnancy journal-- just a regular journal or notebook will do!

:: Elastic hair ties/bracelets: These are awesome to have on hand! (These just happen to be the ones I have-- they sell them at Target for much cheaper, I believe). They were perfect to have when I felt lousy in the morning and had to go somewhere at night (or vice versa). I love that they don't leave a crease in your hair. These will definitely be in my hospital bag!

:: Hand lotion, foot lotion, and yummy smelling body wash: On some of my most tired days, it took everything I had in me to just throw some lotion on. I love all 3 of these products! My friend got me the Philosophy shower gel and it is amazing! Sometimes I think if you take 5 minutes to "pretty" yourself up, you can feel so much better!

:: Cozy blanket: Sadly I do not have that particular blanket, but I have been ooo'ing an ahh'ing over it for months. Any kind of blanket is wonderful to have. I carry mine around from room to room-- it sits on my lap while I work, goes to the couch, and I sleep with it every night. This blankie will also be in my hospital bag. It is a must have! (Pictured above)

:: 5-pound dumbbells: Since my idea of "working out" has changed significantly over the past few weeks/months, these are pretty must all I do for weight training. I know, pathetic. Squats and arms, people, that's all I do these days. I do walk, I swear.

What are some of your pregnancy must haves?

Share them in the comments, Tweet them, or email me (elboese@Yahoo.com).

Bumpdate-- 38 Weeks

Found him in here..

Is this going to be my last bumpdate? We can only hope! No, I'm kidding-- there is no rushing our little girl! We want her to come when she's good & ready.

Had my 38 week appointment today and nothing too exciting. My weight, BP, and baby look perfect! She has until the 28th to come or we have to talk induction. Boo. I really hope and pray she'll come on her own! When I look in the mirror, she's looks pretty high still. Nurse says I have a cozy uterus. ;)

For all my nosey readers my next appointment is on the 18th. We'll see what happens between now and then! I am going to keep waking and bouncing on that darn ball. My husband thinks I'm going to pop it. He said one night he's going to hear a loud boom and find me on the floor in tears.

How far along? 38W5D

Maternity clothes: Same. Non maternity clothes and my husband's shirts around the house, and maternity clothes when I leave the house.

Stretch marks? Nothing new. Booty & boobs. Boo.

Sleep: Sleeping great! Very thankful for that. There is quite a set up for sleep, though-- Air set at 68 degrees, both fans on, leg pillow, just the sheet, and blankets everywhere else for my husband and the dogs.

Best moment this week: Our late night date night! I picked up Chipotle (forgot silverware.. that's what I get for being one of those obnoxious people on their phone while in line), picked up my husband from work, and we sat on a bench downtown. This was our view:

When we were done eating we walked to the White House (maybe a block from where we were sitting?). Nobody was over there so it was very nice! I left my phone in the car so didn't get a good picture. How many photos do I really need of the White House?

Miss anything? Not really. Maybe coffee/caffeine/Diet Coke. And a hot bath.

Craving anything? Not really.

Movement: Movement has definitely slowed down, but she's still pretty active.

Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope.

Have you started to show yet? Obviously.

Gender: Widdle baby girl!

Labor signs: None. What the heck.

Belly button in or out? Same. Dark and flat-ish.

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or moody most of the time? Happy/blessed/so excited!

Looking forward to: Our little gal's arrival, family coming, and the arrival of all my friends' fall babies!

My friend Jen is due in November. It has been so much fun to be pregnant together and I'm so thankful to have her!

Symptoms: Out of breath and congested 24/7 (I carry tissues around in my pockets, bra, socks, etc).

Bumpdate-- 37 Weeks

Officially full term! Kind of crazy/scary to think that Baby B can come any time now. Yikes!

I was trying to explain to my dad what "full term" meant, but I was just confusing him..basically baby is completely formed, has healthy lungs, and labor would not be stopped if it started.

Had my weekly check up today..nothing very exciting. Belly measured exactly 37 and even though I was a rather large baby, no one is concerned that Baby B will be big. She seems pretty cozy in there..still very high and has not "dropped" yet. Guess I need to walk more and bounce on the ball!

How far along? 37W6D

Maternity clothes: Officially wearing leggings almost 24/7. It's cool here at night so I'm rocking my husband's Vikings hoodie. He told me I don't look pregnant, just fat when I wear it. Sweet!

Oh side note about the clothes. Starting shopping for some clothes to wear after she's here. Unfortunately I was not one of those ladies who only gains weight in my belly, so I think it will take a bit to wear my jeans and normal clothes. That's okay! I found some cute sweat pants at Target and may even splurge on some VS ones this weekend.

Stretch marks? Nothing new. Booty and boobs.

Sleep: Sleep. Is. Amazing. I sleep hard. Waking up and not knowing what day it is. It's amazing.

Best moment this week: Having another check up and hearing our sweet girl's HB, getting to FaceTime with my dad, and finishing up the nursery (more on that later).

Fenway and his owners came by because "Fenway had a present for me". Are these not the cutest onesies you've ever seen?

Miss anything? I love being pregnant! If I had to pick something, I'd say unlimited Diet Coke and sleeping on my belly.

Craving anything? Not really. When my husband's shift is over we are going to Chipotle for a late date night. Been thinking about it ALL day!

Movement: Movement has definitely slowed down. She is still pretty active-- loves being in the car and candy corn like mama. :)

Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope

Have you started to show yet? Yup.

Gender: Sugar and spice and everything nice.. that's what little girls are made of!

Labor signs: None. GAH!

Belly button in or out? Flat as a pancake and dark.

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or moody most of the time: Happy/blessed/excited!

Looking forward to: My husband and I are going on some dates before little miss arrives. So excited! And of course Baby B's arrival.

Symptoms: Congested 24/7, bloody nose at least once/day, sciatic nerve pain, and acid reflux.

It's October!

Sweet little gal,

It's your birth month! I still remember that day back in February when your silly dad didn't believe me I was pregnant. He kept sending me to Target for more tests!

That night we went to Starbucks and couldn't hold our smiles and giggles in. October seemed like a lifetime away but we knew it would come fast. Boy did it ever!

We're so excited to meet you and snuggle you. You seem pretty comfortable in there so who knows when your birthday will be..you call the shots little miss! We're ready for ya.

I can't wait to dress you up for Halloween. Mama keeps buying you headbands.. I'm sorry, I can't control myself.

Love, Mommie

Bumpdate-- 36 Weeks

Ay yi yi..36 weeks! Where has the time gone? On one hand I feel like I've been pregnant all of 2013 (I sort of have), and on the other it feels like it has flown by. I'm so thankful for this whole experience-- it's been so much fun/scary/exciting!

Still feeling great, seriously. My back is getting better, thank goodness! I am still walking 3ish miles a day and doing my arm workouts. I walk a lot slower than I used to, but at least I'm outside, right?

The calls are starting: My dad, my aunt(s), my grandmother, my friends..."Are you feeling okay? Are you sure? Did you have the baby?". Yes, dad, I had the baby. She's starting kindergarten tomorrow.

How far along? 36W5D

Maternity Clothes: Same as always..loving my Gap maternity leggings so much right now. The weather is cooling off and unfortunately I don't have any long sleeve maternity shirts or hoodies/sweaters/jackets. Lately I've just been wearing regular stuff..it is quite attractive!

Stretch Marks? Nothing new. A few under my boobs and on my booty/hips. Belly is still bare (so far).

Sleep: Sleeping great! Not napping any more during the day (probably because I'm sleeping so well at night), just "relaxing" for an hour or so each day.

My walking is probably contributing to better sleep, too, since my back is slowly feeling better.

Best moment this week: Finding the perfect outfit for little miss to come home in! We found the sleeper on Amazon and my MIL made her headband. Doesn't this outfit just make you squeal?!

This is certainly not a "best moment" this week, but it's kind of funny.. My husband found that sitting like this helps my sciatic nerve pain. For the past few months I've done this for at least 30 minutes a few times each week:

One night after my husband got home from work he helped me get into this "position" (it's not very easy when you're a big lady, let me tell ya).

Side note: I can only sit like this for a few minutes at a time because the baby sits on my lungs and I literally cannot breathe.

Anyways, my husband got me settled and went to take the dogs out. 20 minutes later he's still not back.....didn't he meet up with our friend and have a conversation with them at 10 at night? UGH! I was yelling for him and couldn't get up. Looking back it was hilarious, but then I was ready to strangle him.

Miss anything? Sleeping on my belly and unlimited Diet Coke.

Craving anything? No. Maybe cantaloupe, watermelon, and a smoothie.

Movement: Still feeling lots of shifting. Is she packing her bags? At my appointment last week they said decreased movement is a sign labor is near. She's still moving and shaking!

Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope

Have you started to show yet? Yes

Gender: Girls rule!

Labor signs: None

Belly button in or out? It's so weird looking! Same, dark and flat. Little Miss pokes it all the time and I'm worried one day I'll look down and her foot will be sticking out!

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or moody most of the time? Happy/blessed/excited!

Looking forward to: Seeing my in laws this weekend, getting organized for our little gal, and meeting our little miss!

Symptoms: Congested, bloody nose, sciatica, and heavy feeling (?) legs.

Bumpdate-- 35 Weeks

One month from today, people. My "due date" is one month from today. Hold the freaking phone.

We got donuts to celebrate. Don't worry, it's only a half dozen. Ha.

I had an appointment yesterday-- nothing very exciting. BG is head down, HB was 149/150, and my BP is low. Appointments are weekly now, so I'll be going back next Wednesday.

The bad news? My back pain is back. It is absolutely unbearable. I haven't done my walking in days and I'm going batty in this apartment all day. I know it will pass just like it did before, but I'm ready to get my walk on!

How far along? 35W5D

Maternity Clothes: Same. Wearing my regular comfy clothes around the house and maternity clothes when I go out.

Oh, some of you were asking. My shower dress was from Motherhood Maternity. There isn't a link to it online, no idea why.

Also got this shirt (below) for the cooler weather. This is the only cool weather maternity shirt I have, so my wardrobe is going to get pretty interesting these next few weeks. :)

Oh, I also chopped off all my hair.

Stretch Marks? Nothing new. Bottom of my boobs, a few on my hips/booty. Nothing on my belly (yet?).

Sleep: Sleeping great for the most part. It's very hard to move with my back, but besides that I'm sleeping through the night..not even waking up to pee!

Best moment this week: Our shower, trip to NY, and seeing our family!

My husband set up our glider. Only said 10 curse words and stormed out of the room twice.

My cousins got me twelve (yes 12) of the A&A swaddlers that I have been swooning over for months. I was so excited to wash them and feel how soft they were! I'm totally in love.

Miss anything? I will definitely miss being pregnant, but I do miss sleeping on my belly. And of course I miss having a few Diet Cokes each day.

Craving anything? Nope. Got my sprinkle donut, though, and it was tasty!

Movement: Still lots of shifting! Not many kicks/punches (I think).

Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope. We haven't had the oven on in a while so haven't had that issue lately, thank goodness!

Have you started to show yet? Yup.

Gender: GIRL!

Seriously stole this from my shower and had my husband set it up when we got home.

Labor signs: Nada

Belly button in or out: No change. Dark and flat. Totally weird.

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or moody most of the time? Happy and blessed!

Looking forward to: Getting ready for little miss, my in laws visiting next weekend, and meeting our little girl very soon!

I asked my husband what he's most excited for and he said he can't wait to hold her. He also said he wants to be the first one to hold her. There may or may not be a fight in L&D. ;)

This isn't something I'm "looking forward to", but this is what I have to look forward to.

Please do not judge me for how messy this room is...

You've been warned.

My poor, poor in laws. They don't know what's coming. Guess they do now! I'm hoping with their help we can get this room back to "normal".

Totally obsessed with Miss Sophie! Every baby needs one and BG is no different. :) So thankful to Christine for getting BG her very own Sophie!

Symptoms: Congested ALL.THE.TIME. Hot 24/7, acid reflux, and back pain.

Also stole this favor from the shower. Found it in the bottom of my husband's bag and wondering how the dogs never got into it. Taking bets on how long the M&Ms last.

Okay, that's all for this week! xO

Bumpdate-- 34 Weeks

Today feels like Friday..it's really throwing me off. Anyway, 34 weeks! I'm so thankful to be here and so excited for what's to come.

Still feeling wonderful. Not nearly as tired, and still doing my walks for over an hour every day. Towards the end my feet start to get sore, but I think it's my sneakers.

We're pretty excited for our trip to NY! It will be so nice to get away one last time before little miss arrives. Can't wait to share details on the trip, our shower, and lots of pictures!

I need to stop looking at the countdown app.

How far along? 34W5D

Maternity Clothes: Same as always.. wearing maternity clothes out and about but regular stuff at home and when I workout.

My workout shirts are getting a bit tight, though. Wondering if I should splurge for some maternity ones or just tough it out for the next 5 1/2ish weeks? My husband offered to let me wear some of his shirts, so maybe I'll try that tonight on my walk.

Stretch Marks? Nothing new-- belly is still bare but my left hip has a few.

Sleep: Sleeping great. Don't have time for a nap these days and that's okay. I do wake up several times and move around, but it's not that bad. Unfortunately my husband isn't sleeping well..he actually said he hasn't slept through the night in weeks. Poor guy. :(

Best moment this week: Well getting ready for our trip has been lots of fun. We picked out lots of snacks and drinks for the road so I think we're set!

We also scheduled our car seat installation appointment at the police station-- they were so helpful over the phone and I'm anxious to learn how to correctly put little bit into her carseat.

Miss anything? Sleeping on my belly, unlimited Diet Coke, and sleeping through the night (guess I should get used to being up every hour, hu?).

Craving anything? Not really. Same as always-- fruit of any kind and cereals. Oh! And cold deli sandwiches.

Movement: Think I'm just feeling lots of shifting around in there. My belly has been lopsided for days..it's so funny looking!

Anything making you queasy or sick? Greasy/salty/spicy food. Ewww. Really only want to eat cold stuff.

Have you started to show yet? What do you think?

Gender: Girls rule and boys...

Labor signs: Nope

Belly button in or out? Same, I think. Barely in and dark.

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or moody most of the time? Happy/blessed/thankful, but get frustrated and annoyed easily.

Looking forward to: Our trip to NY/baby shower/seeing family, and getting back and getting organized for little girl's arrival!

Symptoms: Stuffy nose 24/7 and sore feet after my walks each night.

Crib Review on Sippy Cup Mom

Remember me mentioning that my friend Melissa hooked me up with a free crib? Yes, she is amazing and I'm so thankful for her!

Well my review post is live and I encourage you to check it out!

I picked the Fisher Price Kingsport Convertible crib for review. You can read my review here-- we are totally head over heels in love with it!

Thanks, Melissa! I'm so thankful for you! xO

Bumpdate-- 32 Weeks

Eeeek! Each week seems scary close to the finish line. I'm now having appointments every 2 weeks until 35 weeks, then I'll be going weekly. At $7 each time to park, they should have a bench in our name by the end of this.

So I have some countdown app and about pooped myself when I randomly checked it a few days ago. Obviously we know it's not completely accurate, but 50 days to my due date is crazy!

How far along? 32W6D

Maternity Clothes: Not wearing much besides comfy pants around the house and my husband's shirts. I got another size large sports bra (seriously, never been that size in my life) and it's so comfortable.

Still haven't found a dress for my baby shower..thinking something long with some cute shoes! Any suggestions?

Stretch Marks? Got a few on my hips. Nothing (yet?) on my belly.

Sleep: Sleeping great minus waking up 2x to pee every night. Still taking a good 1 hour nap  each day.

Best moment this week: Planning our trip for our baby shower in NY, and doing some online shopping for BG.

Headband mail! Are they not the cutest things you've ever seen? That pink one at the top was only $3!

Love the idea of keeping them in this glass jar

I also confirmed at my appointment that we will definitely have a baby before November. My place won't let me go past 42 weeks so that means we'll have a baby for Halloween!

So of course that led to this purchase (and obviously a head band but it hasn't arrived yet)..

I didn't want to do a crazy costume when she'll be so little, so we settled for this comfy little sleeper!

Miss anything? Not much besides unlimited Diet Coke and sleeping on my belly. I have a feeling I'll miss being pregnant!

Craving anything? Not really. Water with crushed ice, watermelon, cantaloupe, and maybe a good donut with sprinkles.

Movement: Pretty active lately! When I wake up in the middle of the night I think I wake her up. Whoops! I still don't really know the difference between kicks/rolls/hiccups/punching, so I just call it "movement". Who knows.

Anything making you queasy or sick? Just the oven still. And fried or greasy food.

Have you started to show yet? Yup. More so in maternity shirts.

Gender: Widdle gal!

Labor signs: No. But had some pain in my belly while walking the other night. Think I went out too soon after eating dinner. That plus talking on the phone = major belly pain. :(

Oh and speaking of pain..Did some shopping at Target on Wednesday while my husband was at work. My cart was jam packed with one of those long storage bins and I couldn't see well. I ran into one of those stupid giant red balls outside the door and slammed into my cart. Baby was moving around after so I hated to call and be "that" lady. My legs are nice and blue which is really attractive.

Belly button in or out? In still? My husband said it's definitely darker. It's just weird looking.

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or moody most of the time? Happy, but get annoyed easily.

Looking forward to: Baby shower, family visiting, Labor Day grilling, and getting myself a sprinkle donut after my appointment on Wednesday.

Symptoms: Congestion, difficulty breathing (can't catch my breath for anything), and dry lips/mouth.

Bumpdate-- 31 Weeks

31 weeks and the extreme exhaustion has hit full force. Boo. I'm feeling how I was back in February when I couldn't tell anyone I was pregnant.. it was awful!

Most days look something like this: wake up around 7, walk the dogs, inhale breakfast, talk to my boss on the phone (go over work issues), return emails, nap around 11AM, lunch (typically in bed), more phone calls (sometimes from bed), snack, DIET COKE!!!, tidy up the house while making work calls, and dinner/nap. My energy peeks around 7PM and I'll walk about 4-5 miles/online shop/talk on the phone until my husband gets home around 11. Then I crash. Repeat.

I had a checkup on Tuesday and BG was doing just dandy. My belly measured exactly 31 weeks-- so right on track. I got the TDAP vax and that was about it. Pretty uneventful.

How far along? 31W5D

Maternity Clothes: Not wearing much. My maternity jean shorts were uncomfortably tight around my thighs (awesome)-- I think my hips or something got wider. Love wearing these shorts with Target tees and my husband's socks.

Stretch Marks? Nothing new.

Sleep: Cannot get enough sleep. It's very hard to fall asleep but when I do, I sleep great.

Best moment this week: Our nursery rug arrived! (More on the nursery back here). The dogs were totally obsessed from the moment it came out of the box. I'm looking forward to lots of tummy time on this rug. Maybe even monthly photos? In love with it!

The dogs have been "digging" on the rug every chance they get.

Miss anything? Not being tired 24/7, unlimited Diet Coke, and hot baths.

Craving anything? Just candy corn. Besides that, water and fruit.

Movement: She's a pretty active little gal! I will certainly miss all this movement when she's here. :) She can move my phone when it sits on my belly. It's too funny.

Anything making you queasy or sick? Hmm, just the oven. And anything fried.. eww.

Have you started to show yet? I think so! It's quite obvious now, people don't to have to wonder if I'm fat or pregnant. I'm both, obviously.

Gender: My headband wearing little girl!

My MIL has been busy crocheting for BG. Isn't that headband the cutest?!?! I'm fairly certain she'll never have a naked head. And a sweater is in the works.. possibly a going home outfit? Cannot contain my excitement!

Labor signs: No. But totally scary when I left my appointment and the review sheet said "Call when your contractions are 4 mins apart for at least an hour".. Hold the freaking phone!

Belly button in or out? Same, barely in and dark.

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or moody most of the time? Happy, blessed, and thankful.

Looking forward to: Traveling to NY for our shower September 15th, Labor Day grilling, and getting myself some candy corn! Oh and seeing family in the upcoming weeks/months.

Symptoms: Major, major, major acid reflux. It's the worst! Had it for hours last night before bed and was almost in tears. Finally fell asleep and got it again today after eating a Jalepeno Lean Pocket LOL.

Nursery Progress and Ramblings

As promised, a post about the nursery! We have been super busy between work, family visiting, and life in general. Luckily the nursery is coming along and I'm feeling like we're doing okay

I'll post more about it later, but we were super blessed with a free crib for review! We picked out the Fisher-Price Kingsport Convertible Crib and we're in love. Super thankful of my friend Melissa, she is amazing for thinking of us!

That bedding, swoon! I will cry my eyes out the day we put it into the attic. I know I went a little crazy with the birds, no need to remind me.

We registered for another 3 or 4 sets of white crib sheets and a waterproof mattress cover-- it's always good to have tons of them for diaper explosions. ;)

While I was sick I was busy making these bad boys. I don't like the idea of a crib mobile, so I thought this was a way cuter option. My inspiration came from here. I plan on doing the same thing-- shoving them up in the wall/ceiling and praying they stay there, LOL.

Good thing I bought 18 packs of tissue paper, I have lots more to make!

Nothing too crazy going on along this wall right now. Ordered these letters to go on a shelf above the changing table and am even going to order this garland to decorate the shelf/letters. Cute, right?

Thinking this hamper on one side of the changing table and this chalkboard basket for blankets and such on the other side. Ahem. We already own two of those chalkboard baskets..totally obsessed with them!

When my FIL was here last week he helped me do some rearranging. We both agreed that having the furniture like this is the best way to go.

I'm picturing some tissues on the nightstand, maybe some books, and whatever else. I thought it would be a good idea to have a nightstand by the glider-- perfect place to keep some water or my phone.

Maybe some shelves above the glider? BG has received lots of stuffed animals (plus I'm dying to order this ridiculous-ly overpriced stuffed animal) and keeping them on a shelf seems cute!

We ended up getting this cubeicle for all her little clothes, sleepers, and the like. As much as I dislike them, we really had no room for a real dresser. Oh well!

We have yet to get curtains but that's going to have to happen soon.

The bookcase is still holding random items we've yet to find a home for-- head bands (I'm thinking a glass jar like this), socks, books, and the ring sling. Like I've mentioned, I'll probably use the bookcase for books (duh!) and some baskets to hold whatever else.

My husband is going to hang the wreath above the bookcase, I am not a fan of it leaning against the wall like that.

Our fluffy rug hasn't arrived yet, but I'm so excited to take BG's picture on it!

Okay, that is it for now. I'm sure I forgot nine dozen things but that's the most of it. Cannot wait to make more progress and share with y'all! xO
